It's located in the heart of the town, but you'd never know it. Pretend you're lost in a magical, shaded oasis as you kick your feet up on the back patio and relax. The park-like backyard is the ideal place for large gatherings.
Located in downtown Kanab with a variety of shops and restaurants just a hop, skip and jump from your front door.

Grammie’s Manor offers stunningly unique features that ensure your vacation is memorable. As you head upstairs, the fairytale begins! You'll find a captivating loft that's sure to bring out the kid in everyone. The rest of the home provides more than enough space for your guests, with a large living room, office, and bedrooms on the lower level. If you're looking to accommodate more guests, check out Grammie’s Cottage which is right next door and sleeps 6, and/or Grammie’s Casita, which sleeps 4, located directly behind the manor, and is the ideal place to set up for your family event.
The master suite is on the main floor and has a king bed, two closets, and a TV. Its large ensuite bathroom is sure to impress with its very own TV, walk-in shower, double vanity sinks, and private toilet room.
The upstairs loft is every kid's dream (and the young at heart!) with its imaginative design. You'll find a shared bedroom/play area which has a single twin bed in the main loft and two twin beds tucked away next to each other in their own special area. The loft isn't just a spot for the kids to get some Zzzzz, it's also a place for them to hang out! Other features include a built-in desk, storage cubby, dresser, and large window seat. The loft has its own bathroom complete with a walk-in shower, toilet, and vanity. Chances are you won't see the kids during the entire time you're here because they'll want to spend all of their time in this one-of-a-kind space playing make-believe!
The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with amenities such as a Keurig coffee maker, ice machine, toaster, pots, pans, griddle, hand mixer, blender, baking dish, cookie sheets, and mixing bowls. There's even a small TV. You can choose to enjoy your meal at the kitchen dining table, or in the cozy den that has a round table with more seating. The den also boasts two leather lounge chairs and its own small TV, providing ample space for everyone.
The sun-filled living room is an inviting space to gather with its couch and loveseat, lounge chair, fireplace and a piano that's waiting to have fun sing-alongs.
There's more magic downstairs, which opens up into a spacious living area with a large sectional couch, TV, fireplace, and closet. There's a private office you can use, a spacious laundry room with double washers & dryers and laundry sink, and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The downstairs bunk room has twin and full bunk beds, a dresser, and closet.
The downstairs guest bedroom has a queen bed and its own private kitchenette complete with mini fridge, microwave, sink and barstool. This bedroom also has its own TV, dresser, and double closets, making for the perfect private getaway.
The big, shady backyard is a lovely retreat. With lush green grass and large trees overhead, you and your family will love spending time here. Across the yard, you'll find an old sheep camp wagon and fish pond. This grassy area is shared with our two connecting properties, Grammie's Casita and Grammie's Cottage, be sure to check them out to enjoy the grounds exclusively and accommodate 10 additional guests! The shared back patio offers a seating area for 6 and three firepits for chilly nights. There are outdoor camp chairs reserved for Manor guests, and the Cottage and Casita guests also have camp chairs for them to enjoy the outdoor space as well. Space directly surrounding the Manor is reserved for Manor guests, please respect the other property's guests.
Grammie's Casita and Grammie's Cottage share the backyard space with Manor guests. Book all three to enjoy the grounds exclusively and accommodate 10 additional guests! Located directly behind the Manor, Grammie’s Casita will sleep an additional 4 guests. It has a Murphy bed and sleeper sofa in the living space, a private bathroom, and a kitchen with a large meal prep area for family gatherings or events. See Casita link above.
Grammie’s Cottage will sleep an additional 6 guests and is located right next to the manor/main house. It has one bedroom with two beds, a sleeper sofa in the living room, a private bathroom, and its own kitchen as well. See Cottage link above.

The Neighborhood:
Located in the heart of downtown Kanab! Kanab is a quiet, small, picturesque town. A short walk to Center Street (aka Highway 89) will provide a pleasurable evening stroll past unique shops, restaurants, and a trip down Hollywood's Western Legends past.
There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab.
Equestrian and biking trails are also available.
Getting Around:
This home is downtown and has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon.
Here in southern Utah, a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out-of-the-way places.
Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.
Kanab is situated in the "Grand Circle" area and known as the "Hub of the Parks", centrally located among Zion National Park (30 miles), Bryce Canyon National Park (76 miles), the Grand Canyon (North Rim - 80 miles). You can also visit Pipe Springs National Monument (21 miles), the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (15 miles), Vermilion Cliffs National Monument (77 miles), Coral Pink Sand Dunes (20 miles), Kodachrome Basin (93 miles), Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area (75 miles), the "Wave"/Paria Wilderness (50 miles), Horseshoe Bend (77 miles), Cedar Breaks National Monument (65 miles) and so much more. Please note mileage is approximate and may vary by a few miles.
